UK based A1K9 is fast approaching its second decade in supplying highly trained Personal Protection Dogs to the rich and famous.

One of the sad facts of life is that our canine companions just don’t seem to live long enough yet as one special relationship ends it can make space for another to begin.

After seventeen years of being at the forefront of the personal protection dogs business, supplying trained dogs to clients all across the UK and to many destinations worldwide, we are seeing a large number of older customers returning to us having lost their original dogs. In addition, many of our more recent clientele have asked us to integrate a second trained canine into their pack to further increase their family's security in these more troubled times.

A percentage of our customers choose to remain anonymous and we are obviously respectful of that, however, some are happy to allow us to reveal their identities and many take the time to send in testimonials, endorsing both our dogs and the service we provide, giving valuable insight to others wishing to purchase a highly trained A1K9 dog.

Only this week Mr Dave Whelan the chairman of Wigan, the premiership football team flew in to our facilities to pick his new canine.
Having lost his previous two A1K9 trained German shepherds, Zack and JJ to old age, he did not wish to be without the companionship and security our dogs afford to him and his family.

One can certainly not get better recommendation than when one's clients return to purchase their second and third dogs, whilst recounting stories of the security and years of joy given by the dog they previously bought from us.  A great accolade indeed given the growing number of other individuals and ‘companies’ trying to emulate what we do here at A1K9!
There is definitely no shortage of websites for would be customers to look at, so trying to separate the wheat from the chaff is no easy task if you don't really know which ones belong to experienced and truly credible companies.

Which begs the question, what sets us apart?

Possibly the fact that we are the oldest established company of our type in Europe, and are true specialists when it comes to supplying very highly trained Personal Protection dogs and Executive and Family K9 companions to clients and their families around the globe.

Customers that we have asked, tell us that the calibre of our dogs and their bespoke training coupled with the sales and after sales service that we offer is second to none. The attention to detail being key to our approach when dealing with initial enquiries quickly instills confidence that we are a professional company that can be trusted to live up to it's promises. We are also regularly told that our level of understanding of a potential customer’s wishes and requirements is unparallelled when compared to others trying to break into this niche industry. There again, not wishing to harp on, we have been doing this for a long time!

Our business ethos hinges on dealing with people honestly and with integrity, trust and sincerity and we believe that this approach in conjunction with supplying the very best dogs possible that are trained to the highest standard has been responsible for keeping us on top and has helped our continued growth.

For the future
We look forward to supplying more great dogs to clients old and new over the coming years, so if you are in the market for a trusted companion and protector then please look us up.
