A1K9 Establishes a second UK base in Northamptonshire

A1K9 have been providing Personal Protection Dogs to families all over the world for more than 15 years.  The unparalleled reputation we have built as the most trusted supplier of Family Protection Dogs attracts clients to our Kennels and Training Centre in South Wales from as far afield as Bermuda, Japan and Saudi Arabia.

Recent rises in crime rates has significantly increased the demand, prompting us to expand in order to improve accessibility to both our UK clients and those flying in from abroad.

Based in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside near to the
picturesque village of Althorp the newly renovated Watchdogs
kennels and training facility is a great central location for A1K9.

We are delighted to announce that the first stage of our expansion program is now complete - A1K9 has formed a strategic partnership with Northamptonshire based Watchdogs Ltd, specialists in the provision of security dogs and dog handlers.
This exciting collaboration is ideally geographically situated to cater for clients driving from London, Birmingham, the North of England and is an alternative location to meet our dogs and chat with highly experienced staff with regards to their situation and requirements.  Easily accessible and close to many major UK airports, it is just 5 minutes drive from junction 16 of the M1.

The first of our A1K9 Personal Protection Dogs will arrive at the new Northamptonshire facilities in early February.

Charles Wall, founder of A1K9 says “we went to great lengths to find the right partner in the right location, I am delighted to say that Watchdogs mirror our ethos and together, with a little help from ‘Man’s Best Friend’ we are looking forward to securing the safety of more families worldwide.  My vision is to set-up sufficient Training Centre’s within the UK that nobody need travel more than 2 hours to reach us – so watch this space!”

The new facilities feature 20 kennels, large outdoor exercise runs and well
equipped training fields.
We feel that this will be a popular destination for new clients wishing to view
dogs and existing customers who wish to leave their dogs for continuation
training throughout the year.
